extra still

       My extra is the guy in the blue and yellow varsity jacket.  He also has on a gray shirt and blue jeans and has brownish/blonde hair.  He’s part of the rowdy cafeteria crowd so he’s screaming and throwing his hands up.  His prescence adds chaos to the scene.  He’s located towards the top of the scene and a little left of the center.  His position to me looks like a vanishing point and creates depth in the shot.

       I selected this extra because he immediately caught my attention for a couple of reasons.  First of all he is positioned directly behind the main focus of the scene.  Also, the color of his jacket stands out in comparison to the colors the rest of the crowd is wearing.  He has on a bright yellow and royal blue while most members of the crowd are wearing dull colors (grays, browns). 

I liked the extra project.  It made me pay alot more attention to detail in the movie and see how important the background and extras are to a movie.
